SHIPPING & GUARANTEE INFORMATION
All orders placed after 11 AM Tuesdays Pacific Time will be shipped the following Tuesday unless you instruct us to do otherwise in the comments box during your checkout. We're happy to ship on any other weekday but since we pick on Mondays, and ripening usually takes about a week, we're able to ship out our freshest stuff on Tuesdays.
Due to perishablility, we offer only UPS or FedEx 1st and 2nd Day Air delivery for our Ripe/Ready-To-Eat avocados and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Day Air for our Firm/Ripening Avocados. One can expect Avocado Lover's Box shipping costs (per-package) to range between $31-$81 for 1st Day, $15-$53 for 2nd Day and $15-$37 for 3rd Day Air.
Any fruit that doesn't arrive in perfect condition, store perfectly for at least 1 week when properly refrigerated or is otherwise substandard will be refunded in proportion to the total purchase price including shipping.
Shipping Ripe/Ready-To-Eat Avocados 3rd Day completely voids the said guarantee. Shipping over a weekend, such as when one picks a 2nd Day option on a Thursday which would theoretically arrive on a Saturday, may cause a critical delay; thus, doing so completely voids the said guarantee. Putting hard avocados in the refrigerator before they are ripe completely voids the said guarantee since doing so may interfere with proper ripening.
