We grow most of our fruit in
Both areas host a predominantly coastal/Mediterranean climate which means that their close vicinities to the ocean stabilize temperature fluctuation. The result is no temperature extremes, which subtropical fruit trees love. For example, many of our tree types will sustain severe damage when subject to temperatures in the high 20s or lower for more than a few hours. Conversely, what we consider a heat wave causes avocados to drop prematurely; this fruit is unusable and left on the ground. Bummer! We handle the picked fruit in
